Three years ago, I met it at a shelter ā a little abandoned Shiba Inu š named Lucky.
That day, it leaned into my arms, its eyes filled with both fear and a faint sense of hope āØ. From that moment on, it became an irreplaceable part of my life.
Lucky accompanied me through countless days and nights š.
When work was overwhelming, it would quietly lie at my feet š§ø.
When heartbreak came, it would gently nudge my hand with its nose, as if to comfort me: "Donāt worry, Iām here ."
Every time I came home, it was always the first to run to me, wagging its tail, as if our happiness was the only thing that mattered š.
Time passed quietly like this.
Until that day, when the vet told me that its body could no longer hold on š. Watching it slowly close its eyes, I felt for the first time what true heartbreak was. That night, I held its lifeless body, letting my tears soak through my clothes š¢.
Friends told me to let go, saying petsā lives are naturally short.
But I knew Lucky was never just a dog. It was my family , my companion, the only light š during the darkest days.
Then I came across Gempets ā a project that extracts carbon from pet ashes or fur to cultivate diamonds š.
I knew this might be a new way to stay connected with Lucky.
It used to love napping under the sunlight āļø, and now, it has become a real shining diamond, still by my side āØ.
Every day before leaving home, I wear the necklace holding Luckyās diamond šæ.
When sunlight hits the stone, the familiar sparkle takes me back to those afternoons we spent basking in the sun š.
I know Lucky never truly left; it simply changed forms to continue walking beside me š£.
Only those who have lost a pet truly understand this kind of pain ā¤ļø.
Their lives may be short, but the bond and companionship they give us remain deeply engraved in our souls š.
Thanks to Gempets, this love no longer ends with goodbye ā our memories are preserved, shining forever āØ.
Pets may not accompany us for a lifetime, but their love can stay with us, forever š¾š.
